Full-Time in China - Senior - Business

Joom Logistics — business that provides logistics, technology and infrastructure services for crossborder eCommerce. Joom Logistics is a new generation cross-border logistics company that pioneers in the tech-driven delivery management.

We help businesses to deliver their packages to 100+ countries - wherever our clients are we will pick up their packages and deliver anywhere in the world. We will also provide easy integration, multiple options for last mile delivery, widgets for their website or app, real-time analytics, etc.

Joom Logistics is one of the key businesses of Joom, international group of e-commerce and fintech companies that was founded in 2016 in Riga, Latvia. Joom also includes four other businesses: Joom Marketplace, platform for shopping from all over the world; Joompay, fintech service for daily financial transactions in Europу; JoomPro, platform for cross-border wholesale trade; Onfy, pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany.

Now we are looking for a business development manager who will be responsible for attracting new clients from China and other countries, negotiate the best conditions and services, and proactively drive the development of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Search for and integrate new partners to our cross-border logistics service
  • Communicate with potential clients (in person, by correspondence, by phone), present our solutions and products, maintain relations with them, conducting negotiations
  • Identify new clients' needs and business opportunities
  • Search for additional channels of distribution
  • Provide insights to the product team to improve a cross-border logistics service and roll-out of new features
  • Work closely with HQ team, offer solutions based on clients' needs and our expertise

Requirements

  • Native Chinese
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Proactive, independent, self-driven, and disciplined
  • Extensive experience in business development and/or sales
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • E-commerce/logistics background
  • Experience of working at an international company or startup highly preferred
