Sourcing manager

JoomPro is a platform for cross-border wholesale trade. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We want to give everyone from anywhere in the world an opportunity to order goods from factories in China (and Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Turkey in the future) quickly, easily, and safely.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for shopping from all over the world, and Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany. Joom’s offices are located in Latvia, China, the USA, Germany, Brazil and Portugal.

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Sourcing Manager to find suppliers for our B2B clients, control the processing of foreign trade deals, etc.

This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of new processes and shape the way we deliver exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and negotiate with suppliers across various industries in China to source high-quality products for our clients.
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee order process ensuring compliance with client requirements
  • Conduct thorough market analysis on Chinese products, pricing, and features to match client expectations; understand client’s requirements in English and be able to communicate these effectively to suppliers
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customs & Logistics, and HQ teams to ensure seamless end-to-end process management

Requirements

  • Native-level Chinese
  • Fluent English (C1+)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (preferably in international companies)
  • Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset
  • Flexibility and proactive approach, with readiness to adapt, problem-solve, and contribute to the development of efficient processes within a dynamic startup environment.
