Supply Operations Manager (PMC)

We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market and give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to easily and efficiently order goods from factories in China, with plans to include India, Bangladesh, Turkey, and others in the future.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for global shopping; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; and Joom Pulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom has offices in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil, and Portugal, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.

Now we are looking for a Supply Operations Manager to manage all processes related to production, including manufacturing, quality control, payment, and shipment of goods.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate order requirements (packaging, personalized customization, labeling) for factories based on communication with stakeholders and communicate them effectively
  • Control manufacturing deadlines and correct implementation of all order requirements by the factory
  • Arrange quality control, payment, and shipment processes
  • Urgently resolve quality control issues
  • Address and resolve clients' claims on goods’ quality, shipment, etc.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the whole production process (quality control, deadline management, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of foreign trade practices (payment schemes, export, VAT refund)
  • Profound experience in working with Chinese suppliers/factories/manufacturers
  • Advanced level of English, with the ability to conduct negotiations
