Merchant Sales Manager

JoomPro is a tech enabled turnkey solution for B2B importing goods from China. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We want to give everyone from anywhere in the world an opportunity to order goods from factories in China (and Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey in future) quickly, easily, and safely.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, international group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for shopping from all over the world; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany, and Joom Pulse, data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom’s offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil and Portugal. Joom Group has HQ in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are now looking for a Merchant Sales Manager to select the best merchants and you’ll be responsible for validating leads, selling the JoomPro platform to potential sellers, and managing the seller onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate high-quality leads in leads pool by assessing the potential of leads, ensuring they meet the criteria for success on the JoomPro platform.
  • Effectively pitch the JoomPro to prospective sellers, articulating our value proposition and unique features that set it apart from competitors.
  • Guide new merchants through the registration process and provide training/support to them, ensuring they complete all necessary steps to list their products on JoomPro.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new merchants, serving as their primary point of contact for questions or support during the onboarding phase.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing, BD and product teams to improve our business process and merchant interface.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and new merchant management area.
  • Good communication and sales skill
  • Flexibility & adaptability to work autonomously in a uncertain and diversified cultural environment.
  • Proficiency of English level

  • Profound understanding of cross-broader e-commerce business
