Financial Manager

JoomPro is a tech enabled turnkey solution for B2B importing goods from China. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market. We want to give everyone from anywhere in the world an opportunity to order goods from factories in China (and Vietnam, Bangladesh, Turkey in future) quickly, easily, and safely.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, international group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for shopping from all over the world; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany, and Joom Pulse, data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom’s offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil and Portugal. Joom Group has HQ in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are now looking for Financial Manager to join JoomPro team and help us manage various financial aspects of our new legal entity.

Responsibilities

  • Deep involvement in operations from finance perspective and document flow, always seek to improve procedures and processes
  • AR/AP control and timely communication with operational teams
  • Budgeting, forecasting, controlling, analysing and explaining financial results
  • Cost control and unit economy control
  • P&L analytics: analyse, identify and follow-up on cost savings programs
  • Management reporting, participating in local management meetings, in ad-hoc projects and queries
  • VAT refund and cash management process controlling

Requirements

  • Fluent English
  • University degree in Finance/Accounting or Economics
  • At least 4 years of experience in Finance or Financial Audit within Industry with strong Controlling/Reporting skills + Accounting (IFRS/IAS)
  • Ability to independently organise your work in a challenging environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Good communication skills for interacting with other non-finance teams
  • A problem-solving attitude, team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment
  • Proactive and flexible approach, reliability and keenness for details

Preferred

  • Experience in accounting Big4/Big8
  • Experience working in marketplace and/or e-commerce platforms
