JoomPro is a first end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. We aspire to create a new level of service in the wholesale purchasing market and give everyone, anywhere in the world, the opportunity to easily and efficiently order goods from factories in China, with plans to include India, Bangladesh, Turkey, and others in the future.

JoomPro is one of the key businesses of Joom, an international group of e-commerce companies founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes other businesses: Joom Marketplace, a platform for global shopping; Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; and Joom Pulse, a data platform that provides analytics and recommendations for marketplace sellers. Joom has offices in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil, and Portugal, with its headquarters in Lisbon, Portugal.

We are currently seeking a Senior Recruitment Specialist to support the growth of our operations on the Chinese market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in recruitment within China, deep knowledge of Chinese job boards, and a strong understanding of local hiring practices. This role is crucial to helping us meet our ambitious goals by attracting top-tier talent across various roles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-channel strategies to source candidates in China, leveraging local job boards and other sourcing tools
  • Build and maintain talent pools tailored to the Chinese market for both current and future hiring needs
  • Conduct interviews with prospective candidates, assessing their qualifications and fit for the organization
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize offer packages, ensuring alignment with local market standards
  • Partner with hiring managers to set realistic expectations and provide actionable insights on the Chinese talent market
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive search status reports, leading regular reviews on active searches.

Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of recruitment processes, especially in the Chinese market
  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in hiring within China, including working with local job boards (e.g., Zhaopin, Liepin)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable hiring strategies
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken)
  • Confidence, excellent interpersonal skills, and intellectual curiosity.
