Joom Marketplace is a platform for shopping from all over the world. Joom Marketplace helps consumers to make shopping easy and entertaining and provides access to high quality goods from around the world.

Joom Marketplace is one of the key businesses of Joom, international group of e-commerce companies that was founded in 2016 in Latvia. Joom also includes the following businesses: Onfy, a pharmaceutical marketplace in Germany; JoomPro, a platform for cross-border wholesale trade. Joom’s offices are located in Latvia, China, Hong Kong, the USA, Germany, Brazil and Portugal.

Now we are looking for an experienced product leader to join our team as a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to take the overall responsibility for product strategy and development of Joom Marketplace platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a clear and effective product strategy for Joom Marketplace
  • Ensure the product team (in close collaboration with engineering) delivers high-quality features or improvements helping the company hit its revenue growth targets
  • Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and strategic business goals
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Manage, develop and hire a world-class team of product managers and UX/UI experts

Requirements

  • At least three years experience as a Chief Product Officer or in a senior product leadership role within the B2C e-commerce sector
  • In-depth knowledge of B2C e-commerce trends, technologies, and customer behaviors
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work with product metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Self-discipline and ability to independently plan, set, and prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in English (B2 and higher)
